from the Community Promotion & Tourism Committee to approve grant awards for the Lombard Lilac Festival Committee in an amount not to exceed $30,000 for costs associated with the 2003 Lilac Parade and a grant to the Lombard Park District for costs associated with the 2003 Winter Carnival in an amount not to exceed $1,000. The third grant is from the Lombard Chamber of Commerce requesting a grant in the amount of $1,500 for advertising and promotion for the 2002 Holiday Walk.
