Title: Village Board Policy Amendment - Residential Drainage Program Recommendation from the Public Works and Environmental Concerns Committee to approve the proposed changes to the Village Board Residential Drainage Program Policy. The changes include but are not limited to, transitioning from a Backyard Drainage Grant Program to a Residential Drainage Program; creating a concierge level of service to drainage requests, from initial inquiry to final resolution; increase exposure of services provided by the Village pertaining to drainage; provide increased direct technical assistance, regardless of grant availability; develop contractor’s outreach program and direct engagement for grant applicants; increase funding levels when warranted (up to $15,000, with a minimum 50% matching component); and promote opportunities through direct communication efforts.
