Title: FY23 Six (6) Vehicles Purchase - Haggerty Ford Request for a waiver of bids and award of a contract to Haggerty Ford of West Chicago in the amount of $255,525.00 for the purchase of six (6) public works vehicles. The current conditions in the new vehicle marketplace have made securing these vehicles for purchase difficult. Public Works has been searching local dealers to source FY2023 replacement vehicles and have located several vehicles available through Haggerty Ford in West Chicago. Approval of an Ordinance declaring Units PI-164, a 2013 Ford Fusion, PI-187, a 2014 Ford Fusion, PP-207, a 2016 Ford Transit Connect, WM-491, a 2014 Ford Transit Connect, SM-426, a 2014 Ford Transit Connect and SM-446, a 2016 Ford F-250, as surplus and authorizing their sale and/or disposal. Staff requests a waiver of first.
